This alert little egg had me using every trick in the book to get him off to sleep. Lucky I worked like a ninja in the seconds he was asleep for 😉 hee hee!
Got to LOVE that eye contact though. We had some very lovely and interesting chats. Hes going to be a chatterbox for sure!

For me, the most ideal time to have a newborn photo session is when baby is under 10-12 days of age. This is when they are their sleepiest and still retain their womb-like curl.

But sometimes, the sessions need to happen when baby is a little older. And that’s completely fine. We modify the session slightly, use different props and often have more awake and eye contact images.

These images still capture everything perfect about your newborn baby, so it’s never “too late” to have a session.
